Neighboorhood Board Information Packet

Neighborhood Boards are another venue for the Vacation Rental (VR) and Bed & Breakfast (B&B) industry to make its voice heard for reasonable regulation. There are 35 Neighborhood Boards on O‘ahu and they may serve as a key mechanism through which each neighborhood may communicate its needs and desires.  While Neighborhood Boards do not create or enforce policy in City government, they can influence lawmakers.

Should you choose to attend a Neighborhood Board meeting as part of the industry, we suggest you click on the following links, familiarize yourself with the data and print out this information to present to your local Board members.

A list of Neighborhood Boards can be found on the City Web site here: http://www.honolulu.gov/nco/ . By clicking the individual Neighborhood Board, you will find the agenda for the next month's meeting and minutes from past meetings, as well as contact information for Board members.
